This guide is general information, not tax advice.
What is input tax credit?
When a GST-registered business buys goods or services for business use, it pays GST. Input tax credit lets the business reduce the GST it owes on its sales by the eligible GST it paid on purchases.
How to get a GST invoice when buying online
- Log in to your account and look for a "business purchase" or GSTIN option.
- Enter your GSTIN and the registered business name exactly as on your GST certificate.
- Use your business address as the billing address where required.
- Place the order with a seller who is GST-registered.
- Download the invoice from your order page after delivery.
On Valenti Mart, you can save your business GSTIN in your account before checkout.
