1. You are an independent seller
You sell your own products to customers on Valenti Mart — Online Shopping for Fashion, Electronics & More. You decide your prices; Valenti Mart — Online Shopping for Fashion, Electronics & More's price builder only suggests prices. You keep full responsibility for what you sell.
2. What the law asks of you
- GST registration (unless exempt with a valid declaration) and correct HSN codes and tax rates; correct invoices.
- Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011: MRP, net quantity, manufacturer/packer/importer name and address, month and year of manufacture, country of origin and consumer-care details on the pack এবং on the product page. Never charge above MRP.
- Licences where the product needs them — FSSAI for food, BIS certification for products under a Quality Control Order, drug/cosmetic licences, etc.
- True descriptions and real photos; no counterfeit or infringing goods (see Prohibited & Restricted Items).
- Honour returns, refunds and warranties as shown on your product page.
3. Prices with delivery included
To avoid hidden or late-added charges ("drip pricing" — a dark pattern under the CCPA Guidelines, 2023), you may sell at an all-India price that already covers delivery, returns and re-delivery. For those products the delivery cost of each order is booked on your statement; for others, the delivery the customer does not pay is shared as set in Delivery charges.
4. Money
- From each sale Valenti Mart — Online Shopping for Fashion, Electronics & More deducts its commission (+ GST), GST TCS under section 52 of the CGST Act (1%) and income-tax TDS on e-commerce sales (0.1%), and any delivery, return-pickup, courier-bounce (RTO) or advertising charges you agreed to. TCS and TDS are deposited in your name and you can claim them in your returns.
- Payouts are released 7 days after delivery and while no return is open, so refunds never fail.
- Every deduction is shown line by line in Earnings and My Profit & Loss.
5. Packing, handover and proof
Pack safely, take the pickup photo the app asks for, and hand over only against the rider's code. These records decide who is responsible if something goes wrong.
6. Ending the agreement
Either side may end this agreement with 15 days' notice; Valenti Mart — Online Shopping for Fashion, Electronics & More may suspend listings immediately for unlawful products, fraud or repeated customer harm. Pending orders and payouts are settled after that.
7. Law
Indian law applies; courts at Kolkata, West Bengal.
